CAPM® Examination Prep – How to Prepare & Pass the Test
There are NO pre-requisites for this course. The entire curriculum is designed for those new to project management and to provide the essential foundation of project management enabling participants to manage projects seamlessly and effectively.
This virtual, Instructor-led, three (3)-Week, two (2)-Night Per Week course provides in-depth answers to these questions and much more. Project Management Institute’s (PMI’s) – Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) indicates knowledge of globally recognized standards and common best practices in the certification industry used by an associate-level project manager and those in supporting roles, as outlined in CAPM® Examination Content Outline (ECO).
The provided instructional materials include critical resources to assist students with developing the project management skills employers demand, and can improve participants marketability by providing transferable skills between industries. Students will be provided access to a CAPM-rich 1,100-question digital library of Practice Exam questions aimed at enhancing their multiple choice strategies. This course is for anyone preparing to step into a project management role for the first time. Learn the “hard-skills” of project management including planning, budgeting, and scheduling, etc. Participants will also become knowledgable in how to manage stakeholder communications, team-building, and leadership. Finally, learn the how the four (4) CAPM® Domains connect with the Predictive Elements of the traditional lifecycle approach to project management.
Primary to obtaining a CAPM® Certificate is acquiring the educational hours to prepare, apply, and subsequently sitting for the exam. While the application and preparation phases can be done simultaneously, it is noteworthy that PMI requires 23 Hours of project management education to be completed prior to your exam date. These hours can include credit hours in a project management degree program. However, it is possible to become a successful CAPM® without an advanced degree. This course will provide participants with a study plan which can be used as a guide leading to certfication. As a suggestion, modify the study plan for use as an indiviual project plan for successful certification results! A Certificate of Completion will be issued at the conclusion of the course. Participants will need to attend all classes to receive the needed project management education hours.
Students must pay for the certification exam(s) at their own expense, at the time of their choosing, after course completion. These and other related details are covered as part of the curriculum.
This CAPM course provides in-depth content, tips, illustrations, and review activities covering topics such as scope, cost, time, risk, and communications.
Students will gain CAPM learning designed to successfully pass the PMI’s three (3)-Hour, 150-multiple choice question certification exam and jump start their career in project management. Knowledge and carefully curated insight necessary to skillfully master key content needed to navigate this beginner-level certification exam on the Project Management Institute’s Exam Content Online (ECO).
