COURSE OVERVIEW

CAPM Examination Guide - How to Prepare & Pass the Test

This virtual, Instructor-led, three (3)-Week, two (2)-Night Per Week course provides in-depth answers to these questions and much more. Project Management Institute's (PMI's) - Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) indicates knowledge of globally recognized standards and common best practices in the certification industry used by an associate-level project manager and those in supporting roles, as outlined in CAPM Examination Content Outline (ECO).

In addition to the latest edition of the PMBOK, participants are provided with a companion study guide resource—CAPM Exam Prep, 3rd Edition by Rita Mulcahy. Combined, these two critical resources assist students with developing the project management skills employers demand and can improve participants’ marketability by providing transferable skills between industries. Students will be provided access to a CAPM-rich 1,000-question digital library of Practice Exam questions aimed at enhancing their multiple-choice strategies.

Primary to obtaining CAPM Certification is applying, preparing, and subsequently sitting for the exam. While the application and preparation phases can be done simultaneously, it is noteworthy that PMI requires 23 Hours of project management education to be completed prior to your exam date. These hours can include credit hours in a project management degree program. However, it is possible to become a successful CAPM without an advanced degree. This course will provide participants with a study plan which can be used as a guide leading to certification. As a suggestion, modify the study plan for use as an individual project plan for successful certification results! A Certificate of Completion will be issued at the conclusion of the course. Participants will need to attend all classes to receive the needed project management education hours.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN

This CAPM course provides in-depth content, tips, illustrations, and review activities covering topics such as scope, cost, time, risk, and communications.

Gain the knowledge and carefully curated insight necessary to master key content needed to navigate this beginner-level certification exam on the Project Management Institute's Exam Content Online (ECO).
